The HIGHFIVE 2nd open call for innovation projects is now over, and soon we will invite you to take a closer look at the seven funded projects. In the meantime, here are the key highlights of this open call for innovation projects, including high-quality applications and dedication addressing not just one but several or even all the challenges outlined by HIGHFIVE in the food processing industry.

The 2nd Call (open 16.1. - 28.3.) is aimed at SMEs - food processing companies, digital solution providers & process technology providers, from the regions of the HIGHFIVE consortium and working on digital solutions to concrete challenges.

HIGHFIVE project has been launched to address the challenges faced by food-processing companies in today's global value chains, including high international competitiveness, market and innovation barriers, and the urgent need for a quick digital and green transition. This project is an interregional innovation investment initiative aimed at supporting the European food-processing value chain and contributing to a more digital, sustainable, and resilient food-processing sector in Europe.
